Pesticide use is one of the areas within agriculture where robots are being developed to help create a more sustainable future.

On a farm in Ohio, USA, one TikTok farmer shares his weed killing robots (which are nearly three metres long, weigh 4,300kg, and resemble a small car!) working across fields, scanning weeds and targeting with lasers.

Rightly so, he comments;

Ten years ago this was science fiction

Given how far we have come, think about how far future agri-food robotics could go?!
