About us

Welcome to the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Agri-Food Robotics and Autonomous Systems – AgriFoRwArdS – Student Blog.

AgriFoRwArds is the world’s first Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Agri-Food Robotics. The Centre has been established by the University of Lincoln in collaboration with the University of Cambridge and the University of East Anglia.

The AgriFoRwArds Student Blog is here for anyone thinking of applying to the CDT as well as those who have already joined us.

From beginning the masters year to writing your PhD dissertation and everything in between, our students blog about their experiences to give you an insight in to what it is really like to be a student of the AgriFoRwArdS CDT.

Our students begin their journey at the University of Lincoln with their Masters year and then go on to study their PhD at either the University of Lincoln, the University of Cambridge or the University of East Anglia. This page is for everyone, regardless of which university you will be studying with.

Our students have been where you are and so want to pass on their experiences, if there is anything else you would like to know, don’t be afraid to comment on their posts.
