Hello everyone!
This is a very exciting time for the AgriFoRwArdS CDT. Not only are we welcoming Cohort 2, but we are also celebrating the success of Cohort 1 in their MSc studies and progression to PhD.
I would like to personally welcome the students joining us in October 2020. We are very much looking forward to working with you over the four years and to enable you to develop your skills to become the next leaders in the field of Agri-Food Robotics. This year may be slightly different than we originally planned, but we still have many exciting opportunities lined up for you and are working hard to ensure the year will be the best experience it can be for you all. I cannot wait to meet each of you and experience this year with you.
To our first cohort of students, who are now in the process of beginning their PhD research, I could not be prouder of you. Throughout your MSc year each of you has demonstrated great resilience and continued to represent the best of the AgriFoRwArdS CDT despite the challenges we have all faced. Congratulations to all of you for submitting excellent MSc projects and I wish you the best of luck in your PhD studies. We continue to be here to support you through the next 3 years.
I am excited at the prospect of what this next year will bring and am looking forward to continuing this journey with you all.
