Cohort 5 Recruitment Open!

Recruitment for a new crop of AgriFoRwArdS Cohort 5 students is now open! The CDT has grown from strength to strength from a founding group of 4 students joining in 2019/20 to just a few years later having over 35 students across the programme, working in a whole variety of domains from all backgrounds and skill sets, including a recent group of outstanding new Cohort 4 students who joined just a few weeks ago!

You may wonder if the AgriFoRwArdS CDT is for you? If you enjoy robotics, soft robotics, bio-inspired robotics, computing, imaging, sensing, AI, ML, networking, AR,VR, decision making, simulation, modelling, or anything in between, and have a passion for agriculture, sustainability and the environment, then this is a perfect opportunity.

We welcome applications from all suitability qualified persons, and don’t hold back if you are thinking of transitioning to a new career and this is your first step or you have been in education for the last several years. The recruitment process supports all applicants and takes into account their varied backgrounds, and is what makes the AgriFoRwArdS CDT a great place to learn, grow and research. Past students have taken part in building robots, live presenting, mentoring students, publishing their ideas, developing research, presenting at international conferences, summer schools, off campus visit to name a few (check out the blog for more details of the events!)
