Title: Making Research Relevant to Farmers & Growers
Abstract: Not enough research is disseminated into the hands of growers and not enough is adopted at farm level – how do we change that to make research more relevant and speed up adoption?
Speaker Bio:
Ali Capper has been the Chair of the NFU Horticulture and Potatoes board since 2016, has recently stood down as Chair but remains on the Board to focus on net zero. As well as growing fruit and hops in Worcestershire, Ali is involved in many different areas, supporting the UK Agricultural sector:
